Erin Skipley of Bellatrix Studio did Mina’s hair and make-up…. beautiful as always!

Married & More With Michelle coordinated the wedding and kept everything running smoothly. Thank you again Michelle!!

We headed to Pike Place for some fun photos with the bridal party… it was great to spend time with everyone before the wedding and take advantage of the beautiful weather!

After Pike Place we headed up to Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill… the leaves were the perfect color, I couldn’t believe how they matched the bridesmaids bouquets!

The boys decided to attempt a pyramid…

The fantastic cake (below) was made by New Renaissance Cakes… it was delicious!

Mark and Mina sent their guests home with yummy cupcakes! Thanks for a great day you guys… have a fantastic time in Italy!

We had a fabulous time at Katie and Andrew’s recent wedding… we were lucky to get to attend their rehearsal dinner the night before at My Girl Drive-In, a 50′s museum in Kingston, Washington that is hidden away down a little dirt road and was a truly unreal experience!!!

There is an old car museum, a gas station, and so much memorabilia I couldn’t believe it! Adam and I were both so impressed with everything.

Katie and Andrew had a DJ at the dinner and everyone had a great time dancing, doing bubble-gum blowing contests, and hula-hooping… it was all such a blast!

Katie’s Aunt and Uncle dressed up and performed a surprise skit, it was hilarious! Their two kids even got involved… fantastic!

The day of the wedding was beautiful!!! I couldn’t believe it was the middle of October with all the sun! The husband and wife team, Jonathan and Whitney, from Brown Sugar Design created the gorgeous invitations and programs. So lovely…

Thankfully the day was coordinated very smoothly by Stacy Kvam, of SK Wedding and Event Design… I love the photo of her hands steaming Katie’s dress below.

I loved the moments below right before the ceremony with Katie and her Mom and Dad…

Katie and Andrew’s kiss was perfection, the whole world stopped around them while they were up there…

The hand-made fortune cookies served after the ceremony were fantastic, I had to eat more than one! Thank you to Art of the Season Catering for such a treat!!!

The reception, held at Kiana Lodge, was quintessentially Northwest and just right for the clear evening and crisp air.

Congratulations to you both, have a great honeymoon!!

Adam got to hang out with the boys before they got ready…

I couldn’t stop photographing Emory, she was so absolutely beautiful, she glowed, like a painting. Her calm presence was apparent from the moment she put her dress on.

The gorgeous flowers were done by Woodland Flowers… the color palette was perfect for the October wedding day!

Everything ran smoothly because Stacy Kvam coordinated the wedding… it was so nice to have her there to keep everything on track! Thanks Stacy!!

Congratulations to you both! Thank you for sharing your day with us!!

After our recent trip to Spain, we were able to take some extra time to drive through the South of France and up to Switzerland!! It was a fantastic vacation for us, Adam loved driving in France again… always an adventure! Here are some photos from our trip….

Adam climbed up into a Roman bridge below… he was wishing he had brought his climbing gear!

In the beautiful Riviera hillside town, St. Paul de Vence, Adam and I spent hours at a cafe watching the men below play petanque (a French game). We watched the game for hours, and Adam even got to go into the exclusive Boules Club to take photos! He has always loved the game, so to spend an afternoon drinking Pastis and watching Boules was a perfect vacation day!

The man in the photo above was a French National Champion, and you could tell… he was so serious, and he never missed his mark!

I loved watching the women play, the one below really held her own against all the men, she had a finesse that they couldn’t master :).

We went to the famous Boules Blu to buy Adam his own set of boules, it was great because we got to go in the back to see how they were made…

Adam had a special “fitting” for his new boules :)… now we just have to make a court in our backyard!

After France, we headed to Switzerland to visit two of our best friends, Michelle and Claude! We had an amazing time, and didn’t want to leave :).

We had a great day up in the Alps, it was so beautiful!!! In the photo below Michelle is pointing to where we are…

This is the view from our room at Michelle and Claude’s house… amazing!

On our drive back to Barcelona to fly home we stayed at the base of the Pyrenees in France for one last night. The view from our hotel room below was fantastic!!!

à bientôt!!!

Adam and I just got back from an amazing trip to Europe! We were lucky to be there to photograph two of our closest friends’ commitment ceremony in Altea, Spain. We had a fantastic week with Marvin, Wayne and their wonderful friends :). We couldn’t get over the location… two villas next door to each other on the Mediterranean coast!! Amazing!

The two villas both overlooked the Mediterranean and were surrounded by amazing gardens, complete with a waterfall… unreal!

I loved the moment below, Wayne was out in the gardens writing his vows before the ceremony…

We all went sailing on the day of the ceremony, it was great to get out on the water together. Being on the Mediterranean with friends… absolutely incredible!

Marvin and Wayne’s ceremony was one of the most intimate events we have ever been a part of, the setting, the people, the words… truly amazing. I couldn’t believe we were there. Thank you both for being such great friends, and for including us in your celebration!

The wedding party…

After the ceremony we all headed out to a great dinner on the waterfront… I loved seeing Wayne’s new ring with his hand on the steering wheel below :).

After spending the week in Altea we headed to Barcelona, it was so fantastic to see Gaudi’s work! Below is the Sagrada Familia, an amazing unfinished cathedral…

Thank you to Jos for welcoming us to your home, we had an amazing time and we can’t thank you enough!! Congratulations to Marvin and Wayne, we love you both!!!
