We had such a great response after I posted some of Liesl and Jeremy’s wedding photos last week that I just had to post more :) It really was such an unbelievable day…. enjoy!

Liesl’s sister, Justine, (above) was such a big help throughout the day. She even thought to add a few special touches to the bride’s bouquet (below), a horseshoe for good luck and a ribbon to be her “something blue”.

At one point during the portraits Justine and her fiance, Kurt, went to get all of us popsicles! It was so great, everyone toasted to the bride and groom…

One of my favorite moments was after Liesl and Jeremy had signed their Ketubah, each of their parents whispered blessings into their ears…. it was so beautiful to witness.

I loved the moment below when Jeremy lifted Liesl’s veil… so cute!

The dancing was fantastic!

Liesl and Jeremy had a “Kissing Booth” set up for guests…

Even their Grandparents got in on the fun (above). Guests began by getting their picture taken with an old poloroid camera… next they added their photo to the guest book and signed!

I loved the bathrooms at The Ruins (below)… beautiful!

Liesl and Jeremy had some GREAT friends! We had a blast photographing them… thanks for playing guys!!

Oh my, I am so excited about this wedding… it was truly a magical day, Adam and I feel so blessed to have been there to capture it. Liesl and Jeremy were married at The Ruins, a beautiful private event space that I think is one of Seattle’s best-kept secret wedding locations.

I met Liesl at the Alexis Hotel the morning of the wedding to photograph her getting her hair and makeup done by Erin Skipley of Bellatrix Studio…. beautiful job Erin!

She wore part of her Grandmother’s veil in her hair, I loved how the delicate flowers went with her dress.

Liesl’s Monique Lhuillier dress was a vision, I could not stop photographing it!! The bustle was custom made for her, and was inspired by a vintage dress she had seen in an old photograph… amazing.

We had such a fun time with their families, thank you all for a great portrait session… group hug!! :)

Liesl’s sister, Justine, and her fiance Kurt (below) are getting married this September in Port Gamble, Washington… we’re so excited to be there, what an adorable couple they are!!!

The Ruins did an amazing job with all the flowers and decor. As the guests arrived, each of the women received a flower for their hair, such a great idea!

The photo below was taken right before Liesl and Jeremy were lifted up in the air for the traditional Jewish Hora dance… I think the look on her face is so great!

During the Shtick the guests dance and perform for the couple. It’s always so fun to see what everyone comes up with, I love the photo below of the pyramid that some of the guests made. Adam was standing right behind the couple when he took the photo… I think you can truly feel the energy in the room.

For their first dance, Liesl and Jeremy asked a friend, and opera singer, to sing La Vie en Rose for them…. it was so beautiful to watch.

At the end of the night Liesl changed into a fantastic going away outfit and the two of them peddled off on a red tandem bicycle… how great is that!!

Thanks again to both of you for a great day, congratulations… and happy honeymooning!!!!

I thought I would begin by posting a few photos of their rehearsal dinner, held at the Library Bistro here in downtown Seattle. It’s always so nice for Adam and I to get to meet so many of the couple’s family and friends the night before the wedding, it makes the wedding day even more relaxed and stress-free.

Liesl looked amazing in her gorgeous green dress and peacock feathers, her shoes even had little feathers on them… so great!

The two of them were so much fun to photograph…

Wedding photos to come…. :)

I loved being able to catch the moment above, it was such a hot day that after the ceremony Courtney and Brian were allowed to go in the kitchen freezer to cool off for a bit!

I also loved the moment below between Brian and his new father-in-law….

We’ve had a great Summer so far… Adam’s niece, Ashley, (above) was just here visiting us for 2 weeks. We loved having her around, she fit right into our hectic lifestyle… she even came with us to photo shoots and helped me adjust photos for clients! Thanks for spending time with us Ashley :)

I’ve also been busy working on Junebug Weddings‘ new Summer Fashion Report featuring photos from the wedding planning book we’re writing!!
Adam and I had such a great time at Pravda (see previous post) and at our house (see previous post) shooting for Junebug :).

I love the behind the scenes photo that Adam captured above, and seeing what we were actually shooting below…

I also really loved the mantilla style veil below… I couldn’t stop shooting it!!

Julie from Bella Rugosa brought the amazing tabletop set-up (shown above and below) to our house to photograph! It was all designed by Jody Taylor-Smith of Good Taste Events (she is an absolutely wonderful wedding coordinator, we were lucky to work with her at Diane and Mark’s wedding last summer!)
